The scene starts in a rather strange position. Clouds are seen in moving slowly past the camera as it sits still. Light blue covers the entire scope of the view, and not much more can be seen other than a few more clouds going by and a couple of air born animals are making their usual runs in the sky to get to the area they need to be. The view slowly zooms back in to show that the scene is actually peering through a window, a small, rectangular window. Upon further zooming we see a chair and a man sitting in it reading Death By Black Hole written by Neil deGrasse Tyson. The man in the chair is none other than our hero, the beloved Kneeling Disciple. He sits patiently reading his book and smiles to himself. He folds the corner of the page to remember his spot, and closes the book and sits with his legs crossed looking out the window.

A lot of people don’t know this, but I really can’t stand flying in planes. I guess once you’ve been to space and back the normal sky just doesn’t quite cut it anymore. (laughs) This bright blue sky is just so empty in comparison to the vast and magnificent places I have seen. I mean, look at this sky; it’s just a bunch of blue. Well, it’s not actually a bunch of “blue”, it’s more so that the blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering. As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air. However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky LOOKS blue. Not that any of you really care about the reason the sky is blue or anything. Most are people are just happy to lay on the grass and look at clouds go by, I should know, I used to do that all the time. When I was younger I thought you could eat clouds, I was quite disappointed when I got older and realized that it was completely impossible. That was one of the few times where I completely agreed that ignorance is bliss.
A woman walks by holding a tray with a couple of drinks on it. She’s obviously an airline hostess of some sort. Once she reaches TKD she stops and stares at him. TKD looks at her and smiles. She smiles very widely and almost drops her tray. You can tell in her eyes that she is searching for something to say so that she doesn’t look bad in front of everyone’s Idol. TKD sees this and makes the first move for her.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
Hello ma’am, I couldn’t help but notice that you noticed me. Is there anything I can do for you?
The woman blushes with cheeks as red as the blood running through her veins and giggles. She puts the tray down on the floor and walks up to him. She is twirling her fingers nervously through her hair and just smiles at him.
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
Hey, Mr. uhm, Kneeling Disciple. I have been watching you there for awhile and I was trying to keep my composure and be professional, but as you can see, I have failed. (giggles) Uhm, I just wanted to say hello, I guess, and uh, see how you were doing. So, uhm, where you headed to today?
The Kneeling Disciple can’t help but smile at the woman. He sees how profoundly baffled she is to be in his presence. Why else would she ask where his is headed, after all, it’s a plane, and she’s a hostess, she should know better than anyone where it is going. The Kneeling Disciple looks up at her with a grin.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
I’m headed to Denver, Colorado, and where are you headed?
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
Oh, I guess I’m headed to Denver too. Haha, sorry, I guess that was a stupid question.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
It’s perfectly alright, I don’t mind it in the least, after all, it’s not everyday you see a famous person, am I right?
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
I guess not, haha. So you I hear you are in a Last Man Standing Battle Royal this Sunday. Are you scared at all?
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
Oh my, yes. I am extremely scared. I gotta admit it though, I'm pretty excited. I have been wrestling against a lot of, uh, how can I say this...Pushovers, lately. But this Sunday I am against not just one talented athlete, I am against 14. I have wanted a good challenge for a long time, and by God they sure gave me one.
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
Yeah, I saw your promo you shot in Scranton. You were talking about how you were going to train the hardest you ever have before. (Looks at empty soda cans and half eaten donuts on TKD's food tray) Looks like you're training pretty hard right now, and your diet looks amazing.
The Kneeling Disciple smiles and picks his book and and shows it to the Hostess. He crosses his arms and closes his eyes, keeping that friendly smile on his face the whole time.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
Training doesn't always mean training your body. Eating healthy and lifting weights isn't always going to be the way to defeat your opponents. Sometimes you have to train your mind. Sometimes the only way to beat anybody is to outsmart them, use what you know against them. Nobody can truely win a match against someone else unless they truely know themselves. The only way to truely understand yourself is to be strong at heart and strong at mind. You understand what I'm saying? You can't always rely on brute strength.
The Hostess smiles and hands the book back. She stands there for a few moments in silence and just looks at TKD. Her knees are shaking and you can see her veigns in her arms pop out slightly. Her arms have goose bumps and her eyes start to water. She falls on her knees and grabs onto TKD's arm and looks him in the eye with her hand on his thigh
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
Oh TKD! You're such a strong and intelegent person. Look, I'm not going to sit here and lie to you. I want you. I want you so bad right now. You're the sweetest and kindest person I've ever talked to. You know how to fight, you know how to think, and you're a positive rolemodel, and everyone worships you. The bathroom is at the back of the plane, and nobody is in there. We can go there right now and we can do anything to each other that you want to do. I am your slave, and you can do whatever you please. Just take me now, TKD, I want you! Please, I want you to do things to me that I have never even dreamed of before!
The Kneeling Disciple looks down. His smile instantly turns into a look of disapointment. He gently removes her hand from his thigh, and places his hand on her head. She notices her hero's face and puts her head down knowing that she has made him discomforted. She falls to the floor in shame.
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
Oh my god! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to burst out like that, I just wante-
The Kneeling Disciple interrupts.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
Stop. Just stop. I understand you. I understand why you said those things and why you made that move. You figured that this was your big moment to score, you thought this was your one chance to have a slight air of success. If you were with me, you would be talked about and praised by millions. You wanted to be well known. I get it. It seems the more I live the more I realize that people only want to get known, they only want to be somebody. I deal with people like you everyday. In my line of work, almost everyone I deal with only fights for the fame. Hell, my best friend in the business, Ronald "The Lovecraft" Williams is one of those people. Do you know why people like you want to make a name for themselves?
[glow=pink,2,300]-Hostess-[/glow]
No sir, I honestly don't.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
It's because people like you don't know who you really are. Mind over matter, do you remember when I talked about that? It's the exact same thing. You and everyone like you fight for a name, a number, just because you want people to create an image FOR you. You are so confused at who you are that you figure you can walk around and just say whatever you want until someone notices you and says "OH! That's the kind of person he is!". It makes me sad, it really does. How do you think I made it in this business? You think people are going to take a person like me seriously in this business? Do you know how afraid I was to tell my story when I first came here? I am an astronaut that killed my best friend on the moon. Do you know how redicoulous that sounds? But when I told the people in the crowd, they cheered me on, and do you know why? Because I wasn't afraid to show myself, to show my weeknesses. Thats why this Sunday I may have a shot at winning this Last Man Standing. Because I know me, and I know everything that works for me. I know exactly what I am capable of and I know exactly what I need to do to win. I know in my mind that you can't understand your opponents unless you know yourself, and I know myself better than almost everyone else in this business. It's the very same reason I have so many fans. Because I know me better than everyone else, and I'm not afraid to throw myself out in front of everyone and say "This is who I am!". Do you know why I denied you? Because I could never be with somebody who doesn't understand themselves.
The Kneeling Disciple stands up and points to everyone on the plane. He has determination on his face. He walks up and down the walkway of the air plane pointing to each and every one of the people on the plane, and they are watching him in amazement.
[glow=red,2,300]-The Kneeling Disciple-[/glow]
And this goes for everyone of you people on this plane! You don't need to strive for what other people think! Be your own person, and don't let it ever stop you! Everyone in this plane and everyone accross the globe is responsible for themselves, and can be whoever they want to be. Don't ever let anybody tell you otherwise!
Everyone on the plane stands up and applauds and some people start bowing down and worshiping their hero. The Kneeling Disciple stands up in the middle of the plane with his fist clinched and his eyes closed, his head tilted to the stars. The people all start a TKD chant and some pull out papers from their briefcases and use their pens to make "Reach for the stars" signs. A voice comes over the intercom saying that they have now arrived in Denver, and TKD picks up his baggage and puts on his sunglasses and shakes hands as he exits the plane through the gateway. The camera trys to follow him out of the airport but loses him in a crowd of people who gather around him and start cheering for him. TKD chants echo throughout the airport as the camera fades to a lovely shade of black.
